The USC Keck School of Medicine, Division of Hematology is looking for a motivated and hard-working Research Lab Tech II to investigate Chromatin biology, histone methylation and acetylation assays, genome-wide histone PTM profiling, and mouse leukemia model.
Applicant should have strong background and experience in working with primary human leukemia samples, embryonic stem cells, and cancer epigenetics . Prior research experience in genetically engineered mouse models is preferred. In addition, he/she will perform a variety of laboratory experiments. The successful applicant will be expected to have excellent data management, record keeping, communication, team building, and computer skills with basic molecular biology programs and spreadsheets, data analysis and graphing.
Preferred Education: Bachelor’s Degree
Preferred Experience: Chromatin biology, histone methylation and acetylation assays, genome-wide histone PTM profiling, mouse leukemia model and experiences working with primary human leukemia samples.
Preferred Field of Expertise: Leukemia, embryonic stem cells, cancer epigenetics
